I have been in the financial service industry since May of 2005. My wife Rochelle and I have been married since 2009. I joke that it was an arranged marriage, as my now mother-in-law tricked Rochelle into meeting me at the baseball game I was playing in. We started dating shortly thereafter and were married the following year in August. We reside in Menomonie with our six children, Aiden, Ava, Ella, Eli, Everly, and Adley, ranging in ages from 15 to 4. Our family enjoys sporting and other outdoor activities, board and card games, and family movie nights.

After 22 years teaching 8th‑grade World History, I joined Synergy Retirement Planning Strategies with a passion for helping families plan confidently for the future. My wife and I met in band class at Menomonie High School, where we both played the trumpet, and we’ve now been married for nearly 30 years. We continue to call Menomonie home as we raise our five children—Peter, Isaac, Madelyn, Micah, and Gabriel—whose ages range from 18 to 8. Our family loves spending time outdoors, especially camping, hiking, and fishing, and in the winter, you’ll almost always find us at the hockey rink, cheering on all five kids as they play.   

As the Executive Assistant to Jon Kroening, I help keep our financial office running smoothly with a blend of organization, warmth, and genuine care for the people we serve. I’m new to Menomonie and already love being part of this growing, welcoming community. As a mom of three, I bring a steady, grounded approach to my work—and when I’m not in the office, you’ll usually find me up in Tomahawk, surrounded by family and enjoying time on the lake with my two spirited grandchildren. I’m here to make your experience with our team feel easy, comfortable, and well taken care of.

Hello, my name is Emmah. I have five years of workforce experience, including three years in administrative roles. I truly enjoy being part of the Synergy team and value the opportunity to support our clients and their needs. I recently moved to Menomonie and have appreciated getting to know the community, especially through my involvement in the Leadership Menomonie program. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, and traveling whenever I can.
